Anti-blcking agent, is commonly used in the production and preparation of plastic film products, which can effectively improve the opening performance of the film. The earliest anti-blocking agent is inorganic talcum powder, diatomite, etc.; in the middle stage, it develops to organic oleic acid amide, erucic acid amide and EBS derivatives, etc.; at present, synthetic silica is widely used in the film as anti-blocking agent.
Compared with natural anti-blocking agent, synthetic anti-blocking agent of silica is more efficient, has better optics and is non crystalline. It can be directly used in food approved by FDA and conforms to European standards. It is more effective opening agent, higher stacking density, lower opening auxiliary demand equivalent to lower cost, easier dispersion, easier operation (lower dust), better masterbatch processability.
