White Carbon Black for Paintign and Coating
White carbon black has thixotropic property. Adding a small amount of white carbon black to the coating can eliminate the phenomenon of droplet sedimentation. As long as 0.5 ~ 2% concentration of white carbon black is added to the unsaturated polyester coating, the coating can be applied 500g / m2 on the vertical surface without droplets and wrinkles. Adding white carbon black to the pigment can not only prevent the precipitation of the pigment, but also improve the adsorption and dispersion of the pigment and dye. When used as filler of emulsion coating, the thermal stability can be improved. In order to meet the requirements of white carbon black for paint and ink matting agent, special products of matting agent have been developed and produced abroad. When nitrovarnish and similar coatings contain precipitated white carbon black matting agent, it can improve the non precipitation performance of the paint, and make the coating easy to disperse, with only a small amount of thickening effect, good suspension, excellent matting characteristics, high transparency and good wear resistance. Adding 0.5% white carbon black into the printing ink has good printing effect, which can eliminate the influence of non dispersed ink penetration, improve the washing resistance of printing materials and increase the gloss of color.
