How to treat the wastewater in the process of producing silica?

In order to avoid the environmental pollution caused by wastewater, it can not be directly discharged to the corresponding processing steps to meet certain standards, so as to discharge into nature.

When using sulfuric acid to produce precipitated silica, its main wastewater contains sodium sulfate. The treatment method is as follows: firstly, the slurry is filtered out from the mother liquor of high-pressure sodium sulfate, and the sodium sulfate is used by gypsum plants or self incineration, then the filter cake is washed with tap water and acid wastewater, and the alkaline wastewater is produced with sodium silicate and discharged from ph6-9.

In the production of hydrochloric acid, the main waste water contains sodium chloride. After treatment, it is rich in sodium chloride, and the mother liquor is recycled. The acid salt water is reused, and the filter cake and tap water meet the discharge standard.
