Application of superfine silica in toothpaste
The commonly used toothpaste friction agents are natural calcium carbonate, calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, aluminum hydroxide, light calcium carbonate, anhydrous calcium hydrogen phosphate, etc. And precipitated silica which has been used in recent years. As a high-grade friction agent, precipitated silica has the characteristics of strong tooth cleaning ability, good physical properties, stable chemical properties and good compatibility with other components in the toothpaste system. In addition, the refractive index of precipitated silica is similar to that of toothpaste system, which is suitable for producing high-grade transparent toothpaste.
The silica friction agent for toothpaste shall have the following properties:
