JS-280 precipitated silica is a white finely distributed, spheroidal, non-porous and amorphous silica (SiO2) powder. It can effectively improve the performance of paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants and other components.
Organically Precipitated Silica, JS-280, is highly reactive special ultrafine silica powder with a low surface area and highest purity. Compared with fumed silica, it has light color, excellent rheology control, anti-settling and thickening effects, ultraviolet light protection and reinforcing effects.
The particle size distribution of JS-280 is the most unique performance among all precipitated silica. The extremely fine particle size (d 50: 47μm) provides a stronger hydrophobicity which is beneficial for the surface activity of the silica and helps to improve the performance of materials.
