How to get better better Dispersed?

•Every coating system has their own dispersed standard, if the fineness of matting agent is uniformity but still can’t meet the standard then it should change to use smaller particle size products.

•If the matting agent got bulky grain on the fineness board after dispersed. Then it means uncompleted dispersed. Then is need to higher the dispersed speed, lower the coating viscosity and longer the dispersed time to solve.

How to get better Matte Effect?

• Increase the dosage when the matte effect unsatisfied your request.

• But if it is more than 10% of your formulation, it is recommended to change to the larger particle size products instead , or adjust your formulation to suits for.

How to get better Anti-settling?

•The smaller particle size and the wax treated products can improve the anti-settling property a lot, especially the wax treated ones. So if it is not available to change the formulation.

How to decrease the viscosity of coating ?

•The thickening effect is decided by the DBP(Oil absorption value). Higher DBP, then stronger thickening effect.

•This product has the lower DBP, so it would be workable to choose JS- 280 to the low viscosity coating system

• Or using some wetting and dispersing additives to reduce the thickness.
