PPT Silica for insecticides
With the rapid growth of municipal solid waste (MSW) and the increasingly serious environmental pollution, it is urgent to intensify the efforts to eliminate the "four hazards" and prevent the spread of diseases. Brushing lime on tree trunks and spraying medicinal water on garbage bins have little effect. At present, spraying central nervous anesthetics insecticides has been used in big cities to eliminate insect pests such as mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches. But these insecticides are mostly imported from abroad, with high prices and a short period of validity (only one month) after spraying. The gas phase silica was used as carrier to adsorb the pesticides, which had a good sustained release effect. According to the determination, the validity period of the pesticides after spraying was more than one year.
