What is an opening agent and what can it be used for?
Opening agents, also known as smoothing agents, anti adhesion agents, anti caking agents, etc., are commonly used in the production of plastic film materials, which can effectively improve the opening performance of the film. The opening agents mainly include oleic acid amide organic opening agents and inorganic opening agents such as silicon dioxide. At present, synthetic silicon dioxide is mostly used as the opening agent.

Oleic acid amide opening agent is a small particle with theout peculiar smell, which has good compatibility with the resin, and has properties of the anti adhesion, skid enhancement, waterproof, anti precipitation, etc. It is mainly used as chemical additives for low-density polyethylene film materials, modifiers for plastic inks, metal protectors, thick color masterbatches such as polyethylene and synthetic fibers, and release agents for cable materials.
Silica opening agent is a kind of synthetic amorphous silica, efficient anti adhesion agent, anti caking agent, etc. Compared with natural opening agent, it is more efficient and has better optical degree. The "yellowing at the end" of the film is effectively improved by using silica opening agent. The porous structure of silica adsorbs metal ions and oxidizes it. There is also a large bulk density, which is easy to mix with the resin and facilitate processing operations.
