8) In the past, fumed silica was widely used as thickener, dustproof agent and filling agent for improving or improving properties of paints, inks and coatings. Even for UV curable inks with high performance requirements, modified precipitated silica can be used, but the particle fineness and dispersion methods are required to be higher. The substitute for titanium dioxide used in paint industry, such as aluminum silicate, glass hollow microsphere silica used in thick paste coating, has smooth surface and is filled with nitrogen or carbon dioxide, which can replace part of titanium dioxide and other valuable fillers. 9) Silicon dioxide is used in synthetic resin. Glass fiber reinforced plastic materials such as agricultural boats, bumper cars and cooling towers are developing rapidly.
