Thanks to the growth of demand in the field of tire manufacturing, silicone rubber industry, coating industry and new energy, it is estimated that the annual demand growth rate of precipitated silica will reach 10% in the future. In the future, the consumption growth of silica will mainly come from the demand growth of the tire industry. With the increasing demand for tire meridian, environmental protection, energy saving and comfort, the application of silica will become more and more important. In recent years, precipitated silica has been widely used in the fields of snow tires, antiskid tires and green tires. It is expected that the demand for the white carbon black market will grow at a faster rate in the future.
Prediction of white carbon black production capacity
In 2015, the production capacity of the precipitated white carbon black in China was 1 million 990 thousand tons. We expect that in 2018, the production capacity of precipitated silica will reach 2 million 60 thousand tons in 2018, and the compound annual growth rate will be 1.12% in the next five years (2018-2022), and it will reach 2 million 150 thousand tons in 2022.
