JS-682 hydrophobic silica is a narrow particle size distributive diatomaceous earth powder that has been modified to exhibit strong hydrophobicity. It can be used in a variety of composite materials such as paints, adhesives, and thermoplastics. It can also be used as a carrier for particles, added to enhance properties and reduce cost.
The most outstanding feature of JS-682 hydrophobic silica is its very high hydrophobicity. It gives excellent water repellency, which prevents water from entering into or affecting the performance of the composite material. Additionally, it has very low dusting and superior adsorption properties.
JS-682 hydrophobic silica is widely applicable in industries including, but not limited to, coatings, adhesives, polymers, rubber, plastics, and metal composites.
